1. Lake Toyako Long Run Fireworks Display

450 fireworks that are launched every night during the period brightly color Lake Toya at night.You can see the fireworks launched from the lake and the ships from the room and the open-air bath.

Period: Late April to end of October

2. Illuminated tunnel in Lake Toya Onsen1

A tunnel which is shined by approximately 400 thousand bulbs for 40m (53.6yd) and A dome whose diameter is 9m (9.8yd) appear in the lively plaza.Enjoy the fantastic atmosphere decorated by the LED lights woven.

Period: Early November to end of March in next year

3. TOYAKO Manga & Animation Festival

Whole Toyako Onsen town changes to cosplay venue.A subculture event created with the participants.Talk shows by voice actors also held.

1. 望羊蹄

Ever popular Western restaurant in this area located in where Mt. Yoteizan can be seen in Lake Toya Onsen since its business start as a coffee shop in 1946.The specialties are hamburg and pork saute.Enjoy your meal in relax in the retro restaurant where you can feel warmth of the wood.

2. Lake Hill Farm

Gelato factory, restaurant and shop in the farm provided so fresh milk gelato can be offered.A lot of play equipment such as volleyball can be rented so you can enjoy the pleasant leisure time in the spacious flower garden and the grass farm with your family in relax.

3. Rest house Azusa

A restaurant in Sobetsu Onsen, which you can see the panoramic views of Lake Toya from the window.“BIG chow mein noodle” containing rich local vegetables and seafood has been ever popular since its release.Another signature dish is “Baked Curry Summit” which is stewed ingredients of each G8 each country participating in Summit of the Major Industrialized Nations with earthen pot in commemoration of holding Lake Toya Summit.Have good appetite of the dish you can feel fully playful.

1. Toyakokisen (pleasure cruiser for Lake Toya)

Explore Nakajima Island getting on the luxury catamaran "Espoir".You can enjoy the magnificent landscapes of Mt. Yoteizan, Mt. Showa Shinzan, etc. in Toya from the board and land on Nakajima Island for walking around (from mid April to end of October). Fireworks display boat also operated every night during period Lake Toyako Long Run Fireworks Display held.

2. Usuzan Ropeway

It takes about 6 minutes from Showa Shinzan Station to Top of Mt. Usuzan Station.You can enjoy the large panoramic view of Lake Toya and Mt. Showashinzan from the observation deck at the station of the top.By 17 minutes walking, you can reach to the observation deck for the crater basin so as to view Uchiurawan Bay.

3. Mt. Showashinzan

A dome-shaped volcano formed by volcanic activity from 1943 to 1945.A well-known volcano in worldwide because the bump and its growth of the fields around there were observed in detail.

1. Toyako Visitor Center

A guidance facility to display and comment on Lake Toya, animals and plants living in the surrounding, and Mt. Usuzan which is known well for its active volcanism.Panels and real samples surround huge aerial photographs of Lake Toya which spread on the floor of the exhibition room.Affluent information you can get familiar with the nature on the field provided as well.

2. Hokkaido Toyako Summit Memorial

An exhibition site which renovated and rebuilt former Volcano Science Museum used as the local headquarters of the Japanese government during the Toyako Summit period. The conference table where the world leaders expressed their opinions stored and exhibited as it is.

3. Showashinzan Kumabokujo (bear farm)

You can see about 70 brown bears playing and relaxing in the large farm up close to them.The highlight is the powerful biology you can never see in front of such cage in a zoo.
